Ambassador George S. McGovern, former United States Senator and presidential nominee, serves as the special United Nations Ambassador on Hunger, and Honorary Chairperson of the International Advisory Board. Deceased, Oct. 2012
Bishop Ivan Abrahams, Johannesburg, South Africa, is the presiding bishop of the Methodist Church of Southern Africa.
Herbert L. Bacon, Grand Junction, Colorado, is a well known civic leader and philanthropist affiliated with the Bacon Family Foundation.
Dr. Musa W. Dube is a distinquished international speaker, author and HIV and AIDS activist and serves as associate professor of New Testament at the University of Botswana in Africa.
Dr. Bob Edgar is president of Common Cause and the former General Secretary of the National Council of Churches in the United States. Formerly he represented Pennsylvania in the U.S. Congress and served as president of the Claremont School of Theology.
Bishop Lawi Imathiu, former President of the World Methodist Council, founded Kenya Methodist University in Meru, Kenya.
Rev. Dr. M. Kent Millard is retired senior pastor of the 5,500 member St. Luke’s United Methodist Church in Indianapolis, Indiana.
