Spring Is A Time For HOPE

On SATURDAY, APRIL 13, 2013, the Center hosted the annual Spring is a Time for HOPE brunch at the University of Denver. "Helping Orphans by Providing Essentials" means bringing hope to AIDS orphans in Kenya. About $18,000 was raised.

Keynote speaker was Ms. Imani Latif, Executive Director, It Takes A Village, Aurora, Co. Emcee was Theresa Marchetta, Denver's award-winning ABC Channel 7 anchor. The Center's "Hero of the Year," for 2012, Pam Merrill, was honored.

Attendees more than matched a $2,000 challenge grant, giving $5,000 in response.
