Widows & Orphans--& Goats

The Center partners with Widows and Orphans, Inc., in their outreach to Kenya. Based in Rapid City, South Dakota., their mission to Africa is to help widows and orphan families with the means to become self sufficient, one family at a time. By providing goats, they provide domestic animals for sustainable food, encourage private enterperise, and encourage families to pursue an education. A Christian charity they emphasize:

  • PROVERBS 27:27 "There will be enough goats' milk for your food…and for the food of your household."
  • JAMES 1:27 "Religion that is pure and undefiled before God, the Father, is this: to care for orphans and widows in their distress..."
